
Bracken Hill Lodge is a spacious single-storey property in Welsh Newton Common, positioned between the Monnow and Wye Valleys on the England-Wales border. The property welcomes up to three dogs and sits surrounded by open countryside with large enclosed gardens and woodland.
The area offers exceptional walking straight from the front door. Offa's Dyke runs close by. The Forest of Dean provides cycling routes. Horse riding and canoeing are available nearby. Monmouth sits just down the valley with its Georgian architecture and independent shops.

The lodge sleeps six guests across three bedrooms. One spacious double features an en-suite bathroom with corner shower. Two twin rooms include one made from adjoining single rooms with an open doorway. All bedrooms have French doors to courtyard areas. A family bathroom has a corner bath with shower overhead. The well-equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Tintern Abbey stands 30 minutes away. Goodrich Castle (15 minutes), Raglan Castle (20 minutes) and Monmouth Castle offer historical exploration. Puzzle Wood and Clearwell Caves provide family activities. Symonds Yat and Hereford Cathedral make excellent day trips.
