Very comfortable, warm and we'll equiped cottage in a quiet picturesque setting but main road system close.

We stayed at Bullfinch Cottage, and from the moment we first arrived impressions were brilliant. The cottage itself was everything and more than expected. It was clean, and cosy and all the little things that make a difference. We were greeted with free range eggs from there chickens, and then all those little touches like washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, surface cleaner, tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen roll and plenty of toilet roll. There were plenty of towels, tea towels and crockery etc. Also we got a basket full of logs to start for the log fire. These make a difference, weve stayed at places and not had the basics. The surroundings were beautiful, muddy as of time of year, and the road up to the cottage is very much a dirt road, made worse by the heavy rainfall but it is to be expected at this time of year, and also we were in the country. The hosts were lovely, onsite and nothing was too much trouble, happy to help, answer questions, but you were left alone to enjoy your holiday. We would def recommend and we will be going again.
Heather
Wonderful place, very cosy yet spacious, and well kept. All of the amenities required for an easy and relaxing stay. Having 2.5 bathrooms is especially useful for a group. Excellent WiFi and TV connection. The location is perfect for exploring nearby Leominster and so handy having walking footpaths right on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage x Would fully recommend and will book again

Bullfinch was a lovely comfortable cottage, lovely and warm . Very nice linen the towels were lovely and thick so good quality also a lovely welcome pack , I would suggest a full size fridge freezer as we struggled for space to keep things cold and there was only 3 of us. In the outside the paving slabs could do with resetting as some are loose but other than that with place was lovely and the owners were so helpful and friendly without being intrusive just left you to enjoy your holiday .
This is our fourth visit to this lovely property. Always clean, fresh and comfortable. Ideal place for relaxing in the peace and quiet of the countryside. The dogs always thoroughly enjoy their stay and there are plenty of walks. Owners very welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

We only stayed a night but found the cottage very comfortable, with very well equipped kitchen and carefully though through design and furnishings. It felt quite spacious for its size too and we loved the beams and other wooden features.
A very wellequipped cottage in a very quiet and attractive rural location. The supply of towels was particularly generous and they were top quality. The Smart TV worked well and the settees were very comfortable to sit on. The kitchen had everything that we could possibly need and the cooker and microwave worked well. The cottage is in a convenient location for Morrisons in Leominster and the National Trust properties of Croft Castle and Berrington Hall. We enjoyed an evening meal at the Riverside Inn, Aymestrey which is only a few minutes drive away.
Beverley
We enjoyed a lovely week at Bullfinch cottage with our two dogs. The cottage was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Situated in a quiet rural location yet well located for visiting many dog friendly attractions in the wider area as well as more local ones. Would definitely recommend.
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Bullfinch cottage. The cottage is lovely surrounded by beautiful countryside in a very quiet and idyllic location. We found the cottage itself to be well maintained ,very clean and very comfortable. The owners who live at the same location were always on hand to provide any help if needed. We had a most enjoyable week in Herefordshire and our stay at the cottage added to our enjoyment. We would not hesitate in booking this cottage again should visit Herefordshire again in the future.
Lovely, well appointed cottage in a beautiful, rural location. This was our second visit & enjoyed our stay as much as the first time. Highly recommend Bullfinch Cottage
The cottage was very clean and well appointed having everything we could possibly have needed. A lovely fire stove in the living room which we used in the evening whilst relaxing before bed. A lovely quiet area to relax with our dogs. Dog friendly pubs in the area with good food also. Thank you to the owners for the fresh eggs and dog treats that we found on arrival, very much appreciated.
Thanks to Ed for a pleasant stay at a lovely and quiet location. Particular thanks to him for assisting with a convenience request for access to EV charging which was most useful. I would happily stay again.
Christine
We had a most enjoyable weeks stay at Bullfinch Cottage. Its very comfortable with all the facilities that you require. we appreciated the large bath towels. Perfectly situated for sightseeing. I would recommend the water gardens and national trust properties. Lots of leaflets in the cottage. Also we had a dog and it was so handy to have a good walk from the front door. If you want a longer walk would recommend Mortimers Forest. Only one tiny observation would be to have vertical blinds on the dining are window as next doors path leads right up to it and lack of privacy when eating at the table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the eggs left by the owners.
We had a lovely stay in a beautiful cottage and received a warm welcome. The eggs were lovely too and much appreciated.
A little piece of heaven. Idyllically peaceful, lovely garden full of primroses, celandines and daffodils. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy the countryside. Spotlessly clean property with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have sulked since they came home. Thank you for the beautiful fresh eggs and dog treats.
Jacqueline
We found all furniture, settees and beds very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and we really enjoyed the log fire. Very peaceful and quiet setting.
The cottage was fantastic. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Each night we sat with a glass of wine and watched the log fire and read a book. Bliss! My only regret was not booking it for longer.
Carolyne
We were so pleased to find such lovely accommodation that allows dogs & was available for our required 3 nights. We met the lovely owners when we arrived who said to call if we needed anything at all. The cottage is set in such a perfect & peaceful situation yet only a short drive from Leominster. We were so pleased to be able to walk our dog in the fields which are literally just outside the front door. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage, we all loved it.
Andrew
Nice, well equipped cottage in a lovely location, with a welcoming host. We appreciated the free eggs as a welcoming gift. This is a cottage with beams upstairs, which we were aware of when we booked it, but as a 6' tall person I found it challenging. There was a comfortable bed, and living room sofa with a smart TV. The downgrade for the comfort is purely down to the tired kitchen chairs, which lacked support. Kingsland has 2 excellent food pubs The Corners Inn, and The Angel, both of which are recommended. There are National Trust properties nearby, and Ludlow and Hereford are lovely, which makes this Cottage well located, and worth a stay.
We really enjoyed staying in this pretty, well appointed cottage & we hope to book a longer stay next year. The rural setting was perfect. The fresh eggs left in the kitchen for us was a lovely touch
Maureen
We had a splendid week at Bullfinch cottage, Kingsland. It was easy to find, even though we werent familiar with the district, especially with its own sign at the end of the road. The parking space in front of the property was good. The cottage was delightful, immaculate, comfortable and with everything we needed to make us feel this was the place for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the dining area excellent and we enjoyed relaxing in front of the smart TV before repairing to the excellent bedrooms. It was really peaceful to be in the quiet depth of the countryside, while within easy reach of shops and towns. Every day we were able to visit a place of interest including Eastnor Castle and Brockhampton Estate and the jewel of the holiday, the Mappa Mundi in Hereford Cathedral. We can recommend Bullfinch as a tranquil haven as well as an excellent base to explore the region. Oh yes we want to return!!! Maureen
The cottage was so lovely a home from home. We loved the touch of fresh eggs which went down well, and dogs loved their treats. Surrounding area of cottage was great for dog walks as long as you avoided the stiles. We only used the main bed but it was very comfortable and good linen. Lots of information including recommended pubs which the Angle is brilliant. Loved our time there hope to be back.
Lovely peaceful location, very clean and comfortable, all that we required was provided. We did find the dining chairs difficult to get off as they were very soft and low. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the lovely walks. We will return again! Thank you for the lovely fresh eggs
I have been renting holiday cottages throughout Herefordshire for 1 year. I sold my home in the Peak District and am looking to buy in this this area. Bullfinch cottage was the best experience I have had during the whole year. The cottage has every convenience and the owners are most accommodating. The grounds are a piece of heaven. Wild flower meadows and beautifully manicured lawns surround the cottages. I can highly recommend this property
The property itself is well presented, spotlessly clean and everything is provided I need not have packed the extras that are usually needed when selfcatering! The only slight inconvenience was the very small and low wattage microwave not too much problem for the two of us, but not sure how a party of 4 would cope perhaps everybody eats out! The garden area is nice for outdoor eating, but the wooden garden tablebench is well weathered.
Excellent property with all the facilities you would expect. Log fire was excellent as it was pretty cold weather during our stay. Local pub the Angel was great. Excellent location for visiting a number of great places. Ludlow being top of the list. But also Hereford, Leominster and hayonwye. Castle's and national trust properties all close by.
Annette
If you want a peaceful get away from it all place this is it! The cottage was very cozy and warm, perfect for a winter break. The owners couldnt have been more helpful, we were spoiled with a welcome pack and the place was decorated for Christmas which we hadnt expected but really appreciated. There were plenty of places to walk the dog, and it was easy to get to shops and towns when needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Stefan
Very nice cottage and lovely area. Excellent location with so much to do and explore.
Beautiful location. Hosts were very friendly, kind and helpful. Cottage perfectly kitted out and pleasantly decorated. I just wish this cottage were closer to home so I could hide there at weekends!
We had a warm and comfortable stay at Bullfinch cottage . The facilities were very clean . The sofa and kitchen chairs were rather saggy ,needed a cushion on the chair to sit at the table ! Liked the eco products and the owners were helpful Ann
Bullfinches exceeded our expectations. Everything that we wished for was there, it was spacious, clean, peaceful, furnished and fitted to a very high quality. An ideal location to refresh and relax.
Lovely cottage. Road leading to cottage quite a lot of pot holes. Bedrooms had low beams which meant had to keep head bent for fear of hitting the beams. Apart from that couldnt fault the accommodation
Sharon
Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Cottage was well equipped and furnished. Care had been taken to present information clearly to guests in the folder, demonstrating care for the comfort, safety and wellbeing of their guests. Really appreciated the ecocleaning products and toilet rolls. Lovely setting and surroundings, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you
Daniel
Comfort is purely because of my height as this is an older property, shouldn't be surprised that there are low beams and facilities is just because we needed to reset the fuse box when the electricity turned off overnight, which could've been more frustrating if there were more devices needing to be chargedmore stuff in the fridge and freezer but didn't affect us too badly. It was a little tough to see the sign to turn into the property originally due to overgrown plants around it, but once we figured it out every other part of the stay was great. Very peaceful area, and quite welcoming.
Well kept and a good base for holidaying in the area. Helpful owners. Particularly liked the TV as it was simple to operate. Good level of equipment.
Excellent facilities, warm and comfortable and ideal base for walking Offas Dyke Path
Great cottage, great stay. The sofa could do with a reupholster, as you sink in. The chairs at the dining table are also in need of an upholster as again you sink in. A small welcome basket with a few basics would be a nice touch, you always feel really welcome when the owners do this. Overall the stay was really nice and a good location with plenty of parking.
