The property was beautiful and bigger than it appeared in the photos really high vaulted ceiling on the upper level. As stated very clearly in the listing, you do need to duck under some beams and a door on the upper level, however, this didnt bother us at all and we spent most of our time in the upper level living area. Lovely setting with a great view and incredibly peaceful. A large and eclectic range of reading material available throughout the property which was much appreciated. A wellequipped, modern kitchen and modern bathroom. We will definitely be checking the availability of this property next time we are in the area. A property that is perfect for a relaxing, rural retreat.

Quirky property with low beams on the upper level good workout ducking under those! Surprised not to find a washing machine but may have missed this information in the listing.

The art house is the converted end of a very long barn. There is another self catering place at the other end. Its in a very peaceful place surrounded by countryside and bird song. Its about a 20 min walk down to the village. The lamb inn pub does exist despite there being no directions and it not being on any map. Turn right at the finger post sign in the village. They serve nice food and good beer and theres a nice pub garden. The interior of the art house is just like the pictures and very luxuriously furnished. So much so that it felt a little difficult to relax in. The kitchen is well equipped but theres no dishwasher. Theres nice views from upstairs. The upstairs beams are really low, with 2 running the length of the barn you need to be a small child not to have to duck. The whole place is mainly open plan apart from the bedroom and bathroom which has a very low beam at entrance. There is access to a permitted area of outside space at the back of the barn which has sun in the morning shade in the evening. This is accessed by walking around the side of the barn. With lovely views of the trees and the rest of the owners garden. The owners property faces the 2 entrances at the front sharing a court yard. This makes it not the most private space we have stayed in. The owners are friendly and helpful and there is access to an EV charger at a prearranged cost with the owner. Sykes could have listed this better to save extra enquiries. Overall we had a lovely stay.

We felt a bit overwhelmed when we walked into the Art House as we hadn't quite realised what a gorgeous place it was going to be! It's beautifully designed and styled in an individual way. As well as having everything you need, there are extras we enjoyed, such as the varied books and the wellstocked spice cupboard. We felt very relaxed in the Art House and its tranquil surroundings and we hope to stay again.

Wow!! What an absolutely fabulous place this is . A week of peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting and lovely to see such an old building transformed in a sympathetic, but very comfortable way.The hosts, Stephen and Jeanette made us very welcome . We would definitely recommend and would love to return.

The cottage is by far the most luxurious we have stayed in and over many years there have been many The cottage and it's location are ,for us the perfect holiday. It was mentioned that suggestions would be welcomed. Placemats and coasters would be good Manufacturers instructions for appliances would have been useful for oven and microwave But that didn't spoil a lovely holiday

The Art House is set in a wonderful, rural location with no sounds to disturb the tranquility and sense of calm we felt throughout our stay. The house is a barn conversion which has beautifully restored and so thoughtfully designed the artwork is fabulous and little quirky touches add to the sense of staying somewhere really special. Our thanks to Stepen and Jeanette who were perfect hosts, helpful and kind without being intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and absolutely recommend the Art House.

Wonderful property. The Art House sits in a beautiful old farmyard and looks out onto a meadowgarden.The only sounds are birdsong and the night skies are black.The house itself has been beautifully renovated with great attention to detail.Spacious and filled with natural light.Very well equipped and spotlessly clean.It has been furnished very creatively.A great space to live in.Peaceful and uplifting.We loved it.Will return.Jane and Gary.

We were lucky enough to be the very first guests at this beautiful property, and our stay was truly unforgettable. Stephen and Jeanette gave us such a warm welcome on arrival, and the house was absolutely spotless with a lovely, cosy atmosphere. We got engaged nearby during our trip, and when we returned, Stephen and Jeanette were so kind and genuinely happy for us it really meant a lot. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we cant wait to come back. If youre thinking of booking, dont hesitate youll have a wonderful stay!
