Little Lugg Reviews

We had the most wonderful weekend stay at The Little Lugg in Hereford. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations in every way. The property itself is beautifully presented, spotless, and incredibly cosy it instantly felt like a home away from home. Every little detail has clearly been thought through to make the stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The hot tub was definitely a highlight for us. It was immaculately clean and provided the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings especially in the evening. A special touch that really stood out was the cupcakes left for us by the owner. They were such a thoughtful surprise and, honestly, the icing on the cake no pun intended!. Little gestures like that really make a stay feel extra special and personal. Having The Cross Keys pub just across the road was also a lovely bonus perfect for popping over for a drink without needing to travel. We couldnt have asked for a better weekend getaway and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, highquality stay in a beautiful location.
Great place to stay. clean, tidy and well maintained. Privacy and facilities were excellant.
Little Lugg is an ideal get away, beautifully decorated and downstairs is spacious. Bedroom is snug, dressing area a lovely and essential space. Hot tub and wood burner tempt you to just stay in ! A little attention to detail to cleaning in some areas toilet brushes were not too pleasant, extractor fans needed a good clean. Bed had been mentioned on feedback several times, however remained rather squeaky and creaky! But only mentioning as being picky because Little Lugg is so wonderful the little things let it down just a tad, however they didnt spoil our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
Absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful, clean and just as described. The hot tub was fabulous! Based in a lovely quiet location so you have complete peace and quiet! There is a pub over the road however they dont do food so you will have to drive to go out for dinner but pretty perfect apart from that
We enjoyed a 5 night stay at Little Lugg and were very impressed with the cottage and the communal areas. We felt very welcome with cupcakes from Steph, which were delicious. We loved the hot tub at the end of a day of exploring Herefordshire. Little Lugg is a luxurious space for two. Having two shower rooms and a separate dressing room was fantastic. Jarrad and Steph have created a relaxing collection of holiday homes, with privacy and easy access. The road noise was not constant and we managed with using earplugs.
A lovely place to stay. We went for a quiet few nights away, hot tub was great and we were lucky with the weather to make use of it.

Really high standard of cottage build and facilities, really clean and lots of space There was lots of road noise which made sleep difficult, there are no paths to walk on, there are no pubs serving food nearby so getting about was only possible by cartaxi or walking in the road

Had a perfect few nights away at the little lugg. Clean and welcoming. Ideal location and loved the hot tub
Amazing stay and so relaxing, hot tub amazing, kitchen clean, rooms spacious and generally a lovely place to stay. We will be back.
Lovely property, accommodation very clean & comfortable. Hot tub was lovely after long days out. Felt nice and private. Only really needed to contact owners once minor issue with oven door Jarrod responded very quickly within 15 mins & sorted problem immediately. Chatting with him, he was friendly and offered a couple of suggestions regarding possible days out Ludlow & cider shop. Overall Little Lugg was a great short break property which we would highly recommend.

We have had a wonderful week at Little Lugg, everything was very clean, inviting, warm and cosy, wonderful cup cakes thank you. We didnt want for anything! Although we toured the area we always looked forward to coming back to spend time in the hot tub each night, so relaxing regardless of the weather. Also Stephs recommendation for places to eat were really helpful. We hope we can come back in the future to this lovely find!
We had an amazing stay at Little Lugg. Cant fault it in anyway whatsoever, everything was excellent, there is a guest book with so much helpful information for your day. Owners have gone above and beyond to ensure you have all you need for your stay. Only thing we werent a fan of was the pub down the road Cross Keys Inn, simply wouldnt bother there is plenty of pubs in the town 1015 minute drive and there is a pub a bit closer called the swan which was amazing. Beautiful location, lovely and quiet but close enough to shops etc. Cant recommend enough we were really impressed with all aspects. Thank you to Jarrod & Steph for your wonderful holiday home! X
A truly beautiful and immaculate kept place just outside Hereford. Spotlessley clean and furnished to the highest standards. Everything you need to take a relaxing break. The hot tub is amazing ... a towel rail is the only thing I would suggest although they dried perfectly but draped over the kitchen stools. We visited Hereford foodshoppingcinema. Symonds Yat stunning, Ross on Wye, and by far the most stunning ... Ludlow. Recommended by the owner, it did not disappoint. Truly picturesque castle cafe was welcoming and the scones delicious. A must visit if you have the time. Thank you for sharing Little Lugg with us. Would highly recommend.
Elizabeth
A really well appointed accommodation with all you would need. The cupcakes were really nice welcome touch and it was clean and welcoming. It was really well looked after with all you needed to enjoy your stay. The hot tub was lovely to come home to in the evening and loads to do in the local area
Jessica
Amazing little cottage for a short break away. The accommodation is so cute, and the hot tub is absolutely amazing. The cupcakes on arrival were also such a treat and very delicious, thank you so much.
Beautiful cottage, in a lovely location, very peaceful and was ideal for a relaxing break away. Everything you would need was provided, and I would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for a getaway
Jennifer
Fantastic cottage with everything you could need. Designed to a really high spec. Great to have two bathrooms to share as well and the Hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out exploring. Not far from the centre of Hereford with plenty of restaurents and lots not too far away to explore including Symonds Yat and Hay on Wye. Would throughly recommend and would definitely return .
Michael
This was a very comfortable and immaculately clean lodge and we very much enjoyed using the hot tub. The following additions would have made the stay even better Colander or sieve, egg cups, towel railhookscaddy in the shower room off the dressing room and a map showing local walks. It would also have been helpful to know that the nearby pub does not do food.
We have just arrived back after a weeks stay in Little Lugg and WOW what can I say it was perfect. If you want a location thats quiet and peaceful with relaxing in mind then this is the place to be. The place is beautiful and exceptionally clean and the little touches made it more special, thank you! We met one of the owners who was lovely and welcomed us and made us feel at home nothing was a problem to ask. We got lost on the way there and Step was quick to help us get back after arriving in town. Hereford town was a lovely place with lovely shops and nice restaurants to eat at. We also costed RossonWye again absolutely beautiful and a place Id definitely recommend visiting. Thank you for a lovely stay, were back home safe to say things on the relaxing side didnt last long! We will certainly be back for sure! Laura and Matt Xx

I had an amazing stay at Little Lugg. I cannot recommend highly enough. It was perfect! The property was incredible. It had everything youd need and was tastefully decorated throughout. The cupcakes and fresh milk were much appreciated welcome treats. I visited Symonds Yat Rock and saw peregrine falcons. I also made trips to RossonWye, Puzzlewood, Soudley Ponds, Hereford, Ledbury and Worcester. There were lots of nice places to eat within a short drive. Ponte Vecchio, a little family run Italian in Hereford was so good! I also visited the Kilpeck Inn in Kilpeck and The Baiting House in Upper Sapey. After a day out exploring, to return to the large hot tub, the private patio area, and comfy bed were just what was needed. I wish I could have stayed longer!
Stated the weekend with my partner,I have to say it was the most amazing place we been, you have your own space and privacy, nobody bothers you. Town not that far as well. Stephanie was so polite and helpful with everything. Palace is very clean also hot tub was amazing if I could give more stars I would!!!
Denise

The cottage was lovely, very well furnished with a high standard of quality. The outside space felt private with little noise from the other properties. A great location for exploring the area and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Will be adding the cottage to our list of regular places to visit.

Nicole
A fantastic place to stay, there wasnt a thing that wasnt thought about. We would highly recommend to stay
Lovely property. Very nicely done to a high spec. All facilities were great. Had a very relaxing couple of days away from kids just enjoying the hot tub and log burner and recharging. Definitely recommend.
Great place to stay at, this was our second time round in about 6 months. Brilliant countryside setting and the inside of the holiday home was immaculate both times. Added touches like cupcakes waiting for us on the table and fresh milk and orange juice really made it.
We popped and stayed a few weeks ago, we were 'super wowed'! Little Lugg is an amazing place for a break, everything has been thought about to ensure its like home from home plus a bit more. Overall cleanliness was exceptional and the under floor heating a real treat! Hot tub was icing on the cake for those don't have one at home! to ensure a relaxing stay. Deffo recommend, just brilliant!
