The Farmhouse Reviews

Stephen
Had a lovely time beautiful countryside lovely cottage. Very welcoming hosts will hope to go back this year.
Antoinette
We have had many selfcatering holidays over the years and The Farmhouse has undoubtedly been the best property, in every respect, that we have stayed in. It is a charming old cottage, which has been expertly modernised by the owners to provide every comfort in spacious rooms, all of which have lovely views over the surrounding countryside. Many thanks to Wendy and David, the owners, who have been so friendly and helpful it has been a pleasure to meet you both. We will return.
Good value for money extremely nice people and very glad I had already booked a future holiday, Sept 2026.
What an absolute gem of a place to relax, chill out and unwind. The scenery is fantastic, with an abundance of Sheep with their lambs, pheasants and much more right on your doorstep. The House is very roomy and spotlessly clean. Wendy and Dave are the perfect hosts, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Lots of local places to visit. It's an ideal base to do some exploring, or simply just relax and enjoy your surroundings. Thankyou both, it was a pleasure to meet you. Carl and his Racing Pals

What an amazing farm house. A fantastic large property to stay in and so quiet, ideal for relaxing and visiting the local area. Lots of wildlife to see and the most amazing walks through ancient woodland. Wendy and Dave were such amazing hosts. We would highly recommend this place. Thanks you so much
Stephen
Lovely cottage in a beautiful location, easy to explore the Malverns and surrounding ares. Wonderful hosts who were warm, friendly and very helpful. Look forward to going back soon.

This is a wonderful place for a holiday. The farmhouse is spacious, well equipped including an excellent selection of tourist information and relevant OS maps and comfy beds what more could you ask for?! The owners, Wendy and David, live next door and are very welcoming, but without intruding as we have unfortunately experienced occasionally elsewhere. Their Old English Sheepdog is a character! Most of the time it is blissfully quiet and 'far from the madding crowd', but it is on a working farm so don't be surprised if you're woken up by bleeting sheep, mooing cattle, or the resident pheasant. You might also see green woodpeckers, hear owls and even see deer. One of the best places we've ever stayed.
Lesley
Spotlessly clean, comfortable property in a beautiful quiet spot with wonderful hosts.
It was our first time at this property and we absolutely loved it. Beautiful farmhouse conversion, owners had put so much work into making it perfect. Views from every window were amazing. Their kindness and concern was just right too.
The owners couldn't do more to make our holiday better, every detail was covered to ensure a comfortable relaxing break. The spacious farmhouse is in a lovely scenic position offering great views and a gentle walk in ample grounds. Lots of leaflets provided giving places of interest and locations for good food & refreshments. Great time had.
The Farmhouse was a perfect quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, sat on the patio in the sun looking over fields and hills. We did have to phone Wendy the owner as we had no hot water, Wendy and Dave came straight round and looked at the boiler to see if It was something easy they could fix but a engineer was need, they came first thing the next morning and it was fixed,Wendy phoned me to let me know it was done, it was just one of those things that happen it didnt spoil our day as theres electric showers and dishwasher. We just carried on with our holiday. Wendy was so apologetic, even brought round wine, beer and a cake as a apology It was very thoughtful but not needed but was a lovely gesture. The kitchen was very well equipped, with alot more than I expected for a holiday home. There is nothing negative we can say about aThe Farmhouse, good location for travelling around

The owners were helpful and the pub they recommended was very good for food. I will visit same place again.
Wendy and Dave were the perfect hosts! The cottage was very spacious and beautifully clean. The combination of freshair and comfy beds very restful sleep. We were new to the area , but were very impressed with the Malverns great walking country.
Andrew
The farmhouse is set in a beautiful location with gorgeous views in whatever direction you look. The cottage is surprisingly big and is beautifully furnished. The owners Wendy and David are the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome along with their old English sheepdog Benco. We will definitely be returning.
Jacqueline
We had a fabulous week staying at The Farmhouse, with owners Wendy and David greeting us warmly on arrival and on hand if needed. During the week we had chats with Wendy and her beautiful old English sheepdog respectfully distanced of course. The farmhouse is wonderfully characterful with a wealth of exposed beams and is very spacious and comfortably appointed. The location is very well connected with lots of towns to explore in a small radius, country pubs and not to be missed Eastnor Castle. There is much more to see, currently closed due to pandemic precautions. Our days were nicely filled, travelling as a middle aged couple, and returning for a light tea in the full equipped kitchen of an evening and a night in front of tv in the reclining sofas was just perfect. Even for maximum capacity of six you would not be cramped. The farm has cows and a resident bull, sheep, laying chickens welcome pack including freshly laid eggs and seven resident black and white farm cats mooching around the place. So very peaceful. We will definitely return and will certainly keep in touch with Wendy. This was the most perfect self catering accommodation we have ever booked.
Patricia
Wendy and David were very friendly and very welcoming. The Farmhouse was a really lovely and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed it very much and looking forward o stay their again.
