Perfect house for family get together. So much space. Some walls in the entrance and kitchen could do with painting rather than being touched up with a slightly different colour. There were no small plates which is unusual. We were celebrating a birthday and had to serve pieces of cake on a dinner plate or a cereal bowl. The kitchen was clean, but the oven could do with the clean! Same with one of the fridges. My children loved the top floor, which worked well as their parents had their adjacent room so they were all together. I did bonus to have the table football game out there! However, the mattress in the main ensuite bedroom really could do with being replaced. It is very soft and saggy on both sides I had to move out into the little box room as I found that mattress more supportive. Such a shame because its a lovely room. Also, the bedroom could do with a mirror on the wall. There is only one small one above the bathroom basin. And why one bedside light? There should be one on each bedside table. The negative points are meant as constructive criticism. Its a lovely spacious house, but these changes would make it more comfortable to use. But this did not spoil our fun. Great location and brilliant local facilities, restaurants, pubs, village shop and sightseeing.

This is an amazing property, so much space, well equipped with plenty of parking for larger groups. There was everything we needed for a relaxed week with family members and our five dogs who loved the outdoor space. The property is located close to the Forest of Dean with a range of walking trails within a short drive, we loved our time here and would love to return again.

The main rooms on the ground floor are really good, comfortable spaces for people to share. The bedrooms are a bit of a mix as to comfort and space. The stairs to those on the top floor are steep and there is no bathroom on that level. We enjoyed our stay. The location is great the village is lovely with shop, cafe & pub and lots of activities within walking distance

What a lovely house. A very sensitive conversion from a church. We were a family party of 8 plus dog. There was plenty of parking for our 3 cars off street. The house had 6 bedrooms all guests were accommodated to their choice. The kitchen is huge with loads of cupboard space and double white goods. The bedrooms were spacious even in the attic which the grandchildren loved. The sitting room has 3 settles and 2 easy chairs. One thing we all liked was this is a house where we could either be altogether or each one of us could find their own space which is quite important with 3 generations. Another advantage is a very good pub 2 minutes away plus a good shop and lovely cafe where had several breakfasts. It was walking distance to the river Wye and canoeing. We will certainly be considering renting again for a week. The price was good it worked out just under 250 per person for the week.

We had a really lovely stay at Lady of Lourdes in Whitchurch. The rooms are comfortable and nicely presented, and the house as a whole works brilliantly for a family or group break. The big kitchen is a real hub of the property, leading through to a spacious family area with a pool table that kept everyone happily entertained in the evenings. There is also a large, welcoming lounge thats perfect for relaxing together after a day out exploring. Outside, the garden space with bench seating is a real bonus, ideal for a morning coffee or an evening drink while you enjoy the peace and quiet. The location is excellent, with some beautiful walks and countryside scenery right on the doorstep. Monmouth is close by and well worth a visit for its independent shops, cafes and riverside setting. Overall, Lady of Lourdes is a great choice if youre looking for a comfortable base with plenty of communal space, both indoors and out, in a really scenic part of Herefordshire.

Very happy with the house. It was cool in the very warm temperatures we had in July. The pool table was great fun. We was allowed to bring our own bbq and fire pit and they fitted great into the garden with the benches, also the kitchen window served as a great serving hatch to pass food to go onto the bbq. Great family holiday, my daughter has asked when we can stay again. The shop and the pub just around the corner are a must visit as well.

This property has so much potential. It has lovely rooms with loads of space and can comfortably accommodate 10 people. It's in a great location near the A40 but not too near. There's a pub across the road with good food and real ale and a cafedeli directly adjacent which also does great food. It's dog friendly although our dog struggled on the wooden floors. However, there are a few areas for improvement firstly, the cleaning wasn't quite up to scratch. In particular the dining table was sticky when we arrived. Secondly, there isn't enough equipment plates, glasses etc for the number of folk that could be accommodated. Also, the washing machine is way too small for the size of property and there is no clothes line or dryer to get things dried. We also felt that the property could do with some books andor board games. Finally, some decent patio furniture would be welcome the wooden bench tables are fine but not particularly comfortable if you want to sit for any period of time. We enjoyed our stay and with some small improvements, Lady of Lourdes could be a standout holiday home.

We absolutely loved our time here, the property is much bigger than the pictures show and so it felt really spacious with family and extended family staying here all together. Fantastic well equipped kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. It has a secure garden which was great for our 2 dogs. The location is super, very short drive to Symonds Yat. There is a gorgeous little cafeshop just at the end of the road. .

Ideal for a family get together which included 3 kids, plenty of space the pool table was a success. Great spot to explore Symonds Yat and the surrounding area. Possible needs a little 'pick me up' in areas to make the house superb. Would also recommend 'Woody's' cafe down the road

We had a lovely stay at Lady of Lourdes overall. The surrounding area was outstanding and really made the trip special. The property itself was spacious and suited our group well, however a few areas could do with some sprucing up and the beds were not the most comfortable. A couple of appliances were also not working during our stay, which was an issue with there being 10 guests staying at the property. Despite this, we still enjoyed our time there and left the house cleaner than we found it. A great base for exploring such a beautiful location. So much more potential for this beautiful house.

We had a really pleasant stay at this place. There were six of us plus our three cats, and the house felt spacious enough to comfortably accommodate everyone without feeling crowded. It was clean, wellmaintained, and thoughtfully set up with plenty of amenities, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. The location was also a big pluscentrally situated with convenient access to local attractions, making it easy to get around and explore the area without hassle. Overall, it was a comfortable and practical place to stay, especially for a group and pets. Wed definitely consider staying here again.

We have just spent a long weekend in this property, and have been most impressed. The house is comfortable and spacious our party comprised 6 adults, 4 teenagers and 4 dogs, and it never felt crowded! The very large main kitchendiningleisure area was where we mostly congregated, as apart from plenty of room for food preparation and storage, it held a pool table and TV, a comfortable sofa, and a large dining table that doubled for playing board games. There is also a large loungeTV room, and there were additional light and airy open areas on the first and second floors, with table football on the latter. The teenagers often met up in these areas, or found them a quiet place for study or reading. The pool table and table football were a great hit with adults and children alike. The enclosed garden was a boon with so many dogs, and they really appreciated the many walks we undertook. Although the property is only minutes away from the busy A40, we were not aware of traffic noise during our stay. The wellstocked local shop just round the corner was a bonus, and we had a lovely meal at the Potting Shed, only a short walk away. The town of Monmouth is only a short drive away. The property is located close to the River Wye, and the wellknown view point of Symonds Yat rock. The immediate area around the property is crisscrossed with numerous footpaths, many offering beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. There is so much to see and do in this area, that we really should have had a longer stay! I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone seeking the perfect place to stay in this beautiful area.

We stayed at Lady of Lourdes last week and absolutely loved our time there. The property is a beautiful home with lovely bedrooms and extremely comfortable beds, making it a very relaxing stay from start to finish. There is plenty of room throughout the house, with generous space both indoors and outdoors, which made it feel welcoming and never cramped. We particularly appreciated how dogfriendly the property is. The large garden was perfect for our dogs to explore and enjoy safely, which made a big difference for us and added greatly to the overall experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool table it was fantastic and provided hours of entertainment for everyone. It really added to the enjoyment of the property and gave us a great communal space to spend time together. As a small suggestion for the future, a dart board, a TV near the pool table area, and possibly a settee would make the space even more comfortable and enhance the experience further. These are only minor recommendations, as the property itself is already wonderful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Lady of Lourdes to others looking for a spacious, comfortable, and dogfriendly place to relax.

This is a lovely, spacious property that was ideal for our group of 10 and made for a great holiday experience. The pool table near the kitchen provided fantastic entertainment and was enjoyed by everyone. The living room is also very spacious, making it perfect for large groups to play games and spend time together. Additionally, the owner was very responsive and supportive whenever we needed assistance. Overall, a wonderful place for a group stay.
