Forming part of a cluster of Victorian cottages and converted stables within an established Herefordshire estate and surrounded by well managed farmland, the perfect base for keen walkers and with a network of waymarked paths on the doorstep. Perfect for exploring the many market towns, Leominster, famed for its antique and curiosity shops. Ludlow the thriving medieval market town is a haven for foodies with an abundance of excellent restaurants some of which are Michelin starred, a regular large local produce market, and a host of events and festivals throughout the year. Hay-on-Wye the literary town famed for its annual festival. A little further afield, the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains and the stunning Elan Valley are definitely worth exploring whatever the time of year.

About Warren Lodge

Ludlow the thriving medieval market town is a haven for foodies with an abundance of excellent restaurants some of which are Michelin starred, a regular large local produce market, and a host of events and festivals throughout the year. Hay-on-Wye the literary town famed for its annual festival. A little further afield, the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains and the stunning Elan Valley are definitely worth exploring whatever the time of year. Enjoy the drive through the estate before you arrive into the courtyard. This beautiful Victorian stone lodge is just brimming with character. The solid wooden door with storm porch offers a friendly welcome, step inside and leave your coats and boots behind. The lounge is accessed off the hallway, a large room with high ceilings and bay window, the sofa is a real statement piece and takes centre stage, there is a feature fireplace offering warmth and a TV ready for a good movie. Also off the hallway is a twin room with large 60" TV. The kitchen/diner is accessed off the lounge, well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The dining area offers a table for four with two occasional stools perfect for children. So when the time comes to bid goodnight, climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms, a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with stunning views and en-suite bathroom with free standing bath, separate shower and WC. Step outside the property and enjoy the variety of gardens, there is also a table and chairs with BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. There is off-road parking for two cars. Shared heated outdoor pool (9am to noon available 1 May to 30 September).
