Nearby Presteigne and Kington have thriving craft industries, and Hereford, with its beautiful Cathedral housing The Mappa Mundi, is also within easy reach. Nearby attractions include Croft Castle, which is worth a trip with a picnic has 1500 acres of woodland and parkland. There is a cleverly converted wood shack, complete with table, chairs and outside heating, for evenings staring up at the stars. There is also a large barn available as a play area with tennis area and table tennis.
