This is simply one of those gems of a find. We loved the house and location from day one. Sometimes you almost dont want to share your experience as you are afraid the price will get hiked up or you wont get a booking in the future due to increased demand. This is how I feel about this property. However, I just have to be honest, it was amazing and we would gladly return. Lovely owners too!

We were 7 adults and there was more than enough space and crockery for us all. Its a truly peaceful place, but be mindful its not close to any shops etc, so bring it all with you, or we had Tesco deliver which was ideal. Beautiful views and lot of sheep to look at when you get up. The hot tub was lovely and clean and perfect for a moonlight soak. The owner was very responsive to our messages but left us to it. Lovely setting and larger than it looks on the website.
Myself along with 7 friends had the best weekend celebrating a 50th birthday! Everything was great, lovely and clean, super comfortable beds and as for the views!!! Just perfect Kate the owner popped by to check the hot tub and was to lovely . Such a lovely house tucked away will hopefully return again.

The property is great, the location is great and the owner too. If you wanna recharge your batteries, get refreshed completely in an isolated place, this is the place. The house is very tidy, clean, comfortable, and it has everything you need to have a good time such as a hot tub, a nice shower, very comfortable beds and pillows, nice sofas, with Netflix, and an adorable fire place. The owner is very friendly, responsive and supportive. I do recommend very strongly this place.

We had a lovely weekend here as a group of four friends looking for some rest and relaxation. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The lounge was very comfortable and big enough to get the yoga mats out. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The owners were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. All in all it was a fabulous weekend and the house was gorgeous. Thank you!

Very well equipped throughout. Especially in the kitchen, lots of utensils and baking trays, bowls etc. Useful and generous welcome pack with dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods plus goodies. The hot tub was always warm and cleaned every day. Great views from the house. For me, the highlight is the wood burner, there were long matches, thick gloves, a good supply of dry logs and a metal bin for the Ashes! A great holiday for all. Thanks.

Contact with the owners was effortless and I always had prompt responses. We even got in a bit early on arrival day thanks to a swift turnaround. The house was beautiful inside and had everything you needed. The hot tub and firepit BBQ gave hours of outdoor entertainment, all whilst we overlooked the beautiful panorama of the local area, including all of the new lambs. To top it off, the lemon drizzle cake mentioned in previous reviews did not disappoint! It was a lovely gesture that was very much appreciated. All round 1010. See you next year! Nick

This property more than met our expectations! Seven of us were easily accommodated without feeling cramped. Plenty of space and all the facilities we needed. Great house for a large family gettogether over Christmas week. Well laid out, clean and comfortable, and a relaxing house to spend time in. We cooked for ourselves all week and ate around the large round sociable dining table. The bathrooms were all of a high standard. Quiet location with good nearby walking. The owners were friendly and helpful prior to and during our stay. Would recommend it and stay there again.
