The location was rather isolated although we had no difficulty in finding it. The directions given only applied if you travelled from Hereford we came from the opposite direction, from Brecon. The property was amazingly full of personal effects, presumably belonging to the owner. In one of the bedrooms the chest of drawers was full and could not be used. The TV would have been no problem for today's technically minded young people but with a little trial and error we managed to access our desired programmes. We had an enjoyable week.

Larger than expected detached property, with large conservatory, spacious mature garden, patio seating area and plenty of parking space. Very well equipped to excess!. TV setup a bit different, using a firestick for channels. WiFi. Can't comment on heating because not needed during a good week of weather. Directions to cottage quiet countryside location spot on.

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a beautiful rural location yet close to pubs and local shop. Hay and Brecon are a short drive away. The house has a spacious private garden with a deck for al fresco meals. We enjoyed local walks over the common with spectacular views across fields to brecons and black mountains, and along the river Wye. An ideal location to explore much of Southern Wales.

Summerhill is a lovely bungalow in a quite location, with a lot of things to see and do not too far away. Foyles in Glasbury is an excellent place to eat, HayonWye is just a few miles down the road. There are some lovely walk along the river Wye. If the weathers nice you can get excellent fish & chips at the Merrie fryer in Builth Wells & the go down to Church St car park & sit on the tables by the river & eat it!

The property was better than the photos it is a beautiful place with an exceptionally lovely garden. It has a peaceful ambience and ideal for my husband and myself wanting a restful week in outstanding countryside. We hope we will be able to return at some point but I know it will become very popular.
