Belle Vue works perfectly for family gatherings and walking groups. Off-road parking for three cars is a real bonus in town. The basement games room with table tennis and compact snooker table keeps everyone entertained.

The house was beautifully presented, well equipped and clean. The bedrooms were all equally comfortable and tastefully decorated so no one had to put up with the 'inferior room'. Everything we needed was provided including the ear plugs! It was delightful to sit and eat in the garden for meals. Being right in the centre of the town was a bonus. It was easy to pop out to explore the shops, galleries and cafs. On Thursday we could step out of the garden gate and buy our breakfast croissants at the weekly market. A thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Absolutely beautiful house and everything is of high quality. We have stayed in many properties and usually there is something one of us doesn't like but this time we all loved it. The only negative was it rained which stopped us enjoying the garden space. Location was perfect for us only a few steps away from the town and 5mins walk to the River Wye. We had a nonhouse related problem and the owner was very helpful when I reached out for assistance.
Probably the best rented house we have ever stayed in. Excellent location, right in the centre of town, but with a secluded garden and offstreet parking for 34 cars. Interior fittings were top quality, everything you could need in the kitchen and very stylish. Communication with our host John was also very good, with all our questions answered promptly. We would definitely hope to stay again in the future...

This was one of the best holidays we've ever been on! Perfectly located in the middle of town, making it easy to walk around and enjoy the many bookstores. The house was very clean and luxurious with gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of space for big groups to cook and dine together. Parking for 2 cars and there were a couple of car parks very close by providing cheap parking.
We were a party of 7 and the house was lovely and spacious with everything that you could wish for.
An amazing property in the centre of Hay on wye , with everything you could possibly wish for. It was luxury but still felt homely & we all loved our time there . What a bonus to have onsite parking & all bedrooms with their own bathrooms & an extra one on the ground floor . We loved it so much weve booked again for a weekend in April .

An amazing house. Spacious, comfortable, warm, excellent facilities, all rooms beautifully presented, modern kitchen and bathrooms throughout. 1010. Central location so perfect for a larger group visiting the Hay festival just a shame the weather wasn't better so that we could have enjoyed the garden spaces ! Prompt communications with owner too ! Would definitely recommend and will definitely look to return.

Magnificent property right in the middle of Hayon Wye. You couldn't be any closer to the town and so convenient for access to the river etc. Every room was superbly decorated and comfortable. Every bedroom was as good as the other, no one had to compromise. For a large family gathering this house was perfect. Loads of room for everyone. The basement games room was a bonus.

What a wonderful place to stay. We took a trip as a group of four couples to lovely Hay for a weekend. Belle Vue was perfect centrally located, high quality kitchen and bathrooms loads of them , comfortable beds and parking for three cars just. We were all surprised and delighted by this lovely holiday cottage and would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat.
Another fabulous stay at Belle Vue again the house and location could not be faulted and we were lucky with glorious spring weather to enjoy walking within Hay and further afield on the Brecon Beacons. A minor problem with the heating was resolved super quickly all the more impressive as this occurred on a Bank Holiday weekend! Thank you so much for having us to stay again, we look forward to returning.

Fabulous house for a group of 8 friends over a long weekend. Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Right in the heart of a lovely town centre too.

The only negative is the paths around the house, when wet they are very slippy. The worst one was the sloping path from the garden, it was lethal, I had a nasty fall on arrival at the house as a result. It really needs to be regularly scrubbed.

Lovely house, warm and welcoming. Hay on Wye is a good little town with everything on your doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
What a delightful place to stay. 10 of us spent New Year at the property and wanted for nothing. Ample crockery, cutlery, glassware, pans, utensils, all top quality. Bedrooms and bathrooms very large and comfortable, all linen superb. The icing on the cake was the basement games room which kept adults and children amused for hours. Couldn't fault anything. This was a return visit to this lovely, spacious house and brilliant location for a preChristmas gathering of adult siblings and partners. It is beautifully furnished and very comfortable both in the bedrooms and living areas provided with everything we could wish for in the kitchen and the hosts replied quickly and helpfully to any queries. The town is on the doorstep, as are country walksruns perfect for our purposes and very highly recommended.

What an amazing property! As a group of female friends we have stayed in numerous properties over the last 20 years. Belle Vue was the best by far! The kitchen was very well equipped and had masses of storage. The bathrooms were immaculate with a plentiful supply of hot water. The provision of loo rolls, toiletries and cleaning products was an added bonus. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. We have just returned from a family holiday, 6 adults and a 2 year old, at Belle Vue and wow what a holiday home, very spacious, clean and ideally situated in the heart of Hay on Wye, the best we have stayed in. A good stock of essentials were supplied... toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets even laundry tablets. One small item we could not find was tongues in the kitchen, also another cafetiere would have been useful but not a huge problem. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful property, we will hopefully return and will definitely recommend
We enjoyed our stay in HayonWye in Belle Vue. The house is fitted out to a high standard and its clear that every little detail has been thought through. The kitchen is amazing and the bedrooms very comfortable. Also you wont find a better position to stay in Hay. Perfect for everything. The local pubs and restaurants are all within a short stroll and we enjoyed every meal we had out.

It is difficult to find a good quality property for five couples on a walking holiday, one with five comfortable roomy bedrooms and bathrooms. We hit the jackpot with Belle Vue, it will be nigh impossible to improve on it! We all thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully prepared town house, it's position right in the town, and the great walking nearby and just a little further afield in the Beacons.

Our extended family of 7 aged 5 to 73 absolutely loved Belle Vue! We have stayed in Hay several times before, but this was the perfect house in a very central location. We like to cook and the kitchen was fantastic and so wellequipped. The beds were really comfortable, the games room a wonderful addition, and the outdoor space really relaxing. My 5yr old granddaughter loved the bats circling the garden at dusk! We would highly recommend this house.
We've just had a fantastic week with extended family at Belle Vue. Everything is top notch the house, the furnishings, the equipment, the space, the location.... Obviously this is a generously appointed place with lovely furniture, nice linens and posh toys but I really appreciated having a decent supply of toilet roll, cloths, BBQ, cleaning and laundry equipment available. Makes keeping the house tidy whilst you're there much easier, and no one wants to dash out for dishwasher tablets when they've just arrived at a place. Top marks as well for making it easy for us to separate our recyclable rubbish not many places do this so well and it really made a difference. Location is amazing bang in the centre, so you can cheerfully ignore the car. Great little shops in town, and a good supermarket ten minutes walk from the front door. Hay was also suprisingly entertaining we came for the walking and a bit of canoeing but really enjoyed poking about the town and castle for a couple of rest days. The market on our last full day was a bit of a hit and provided some inspiration for a last evening's meal of lovely local stuff. Looking forward to rebooking soon!
What a stunning property! Absolutely gorgeous with everything we could have needed, and more. The beds were extremely comfortable, the showers were hot and powerful, the kitchen and living areas were spacious and superbly equipped. The garden is so pretty with plenty of seating too. The location of the property is perfect too, right in the centre of town. We had a wonderful week. Thank you!

An exceptional property. Nicely located in centre of HayonWye, spacious, very well equipped kitchen with beautiful comfortable bedrooms. Good, private outside space too though we were too busy enjoying the excellent local walks etc to make enough use of it. Some comments about the clock striking but not a serious detraction.

We have been using holiday lets for quite a few years and Belle Vue is by far the best we have had. Superb house, perfectly positioned in the middle of town. The bedrooms, most with en suites were very comfortable and the en suites were very modern and spacious. The kitchen had more than enough pots, pans, crockery and cutlery to enable us to cook together easily and having 2 dishwashers was also a great idea. Belle Vue is perfect for families or a group.of friends as we were. The only down side was the parking as we had 4 cars but when you are in a town, any parking is a bonus. We thoroughly recommend Belle Vue to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful area.
