Badger Hut Reviews

Ian
Really quaint, well equipped, warm Sheppard's hut. Everything you need in a compact space for a short stay away!
Rich
The owners were very friendly and were there to greet us as we arrived, also calling on the day to advise about local flooding on the day. The hut was perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. It was very cosy in very cold conditions. The location was perfect with a really nice area to walk the dogs as soon as you left the hut with a nice river and beautiful scenery.
Amelia
Just back from a blissful few days in Badger Hut. The location was perfect, the hut was so cosy, with beautiful views, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! The hosts were really warm and welcoming, my golden retriever had a wonderful time playing with their two labradors. I wanted to get away from everything for a few days and this was the perfect place to do so. I will definitely be returning.
Angela
Comfy well equipped shepherd hut. Located on a farm with beautiful views and fields to walk the dog .
Hannah
We had a lovely stay at Badger Hut! The owners were so lovely and helpful, and the hut was well stocked with everything you could need for a short break. The bed was very comfy and the hut was cosy, even in some colder weather. Plenty to do and see in the local area. We would definitely stay here again.
David
stayed for 3 days with my wife and dog, everything we needed was in the hut, the area was so peaceful, all you could hear was the wind and the birds singing, once we knew the area, it was easy to get to, and not far from pubs etc, but definitely a place to go to have some peace and quiet.
Hannah
We really enjoyed staying in the hut. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed the ability to sit indoors or outdoors. It's so nice being able to walk directly from the hut to the river and beyond too. The hut was really clean and had everything we needed. Its decorated really nicely too which always make a stay more pleasant. We saw the owners around and they were very lovely and accommodating. It's only 15 mins from Ludlow by car! We would definitely stay here again but there's too much of the UK left to explore!
Ben
Such a lovely part of the country. The stay was fantastic, the hosts were amazing, kind and friendly.
Rizwan
The hut was very lovely for a shot break, the owner welcomed us kindly and made us feel at home. All amenities were provided for and very clean which gave us extra comfort in our stay. The induction stove was very convenient for quick and easy cooking and great and clean bathroom facilities. Also plenty of options for outdoor seating and dining. Walks from the hut were plentiful and peaceful with a river very near through the farmâ??s estate. The B&B is attached to the same yard but one barely notices it, and Jonathon and his wife are just a walk away if you need anything! An overall beautiful stay which was very reasonably priced compared to surrounding options.
Jan
Badger Hut at Upper Buckton Farm is an absolute little gem. A compact home from home with everything you could ever need for the perfect stay. The owners, Jonathan and Mary were very friendly and ensured I was happy throughout my 5 day stay without being at all intrusive. I will definitely be returning within the next few weeks as I am hoping to buy property in the area so have lots of viewings in Herefordshire and Shropshire. It was a pleasure to return to the warmth and comfort of Badgers Hut at the end of 5 very long days with lots of driving involved. The decor and soft furnishings are all absolutely gorgeous and I canâ??t wait to return.
