Lower Moor Lodge is an early Victorian lodge on the edge of Hay-on-Wye in Herefordshire, now over 200 years old. Just 0. 5 miles from the town centre and the River Wye, this characterful cottage features flagstone floors, oak beams and original doors and floorboards that have survived two centuries. It sits surrounded by fields with views down the valley toward Hay-on-Wye.

Hay-on-Wye is famous for its second-hand and antiquarian bookshops, antique stores, art galleries and independent boutiques. The River Wye is on your doorstep for riverside walks and canoe hire. The Black Mountains are a short drive south and Brecon is just 15 miles away.

About Lower Moor Lodge

Lower Moor Lodge is an early Victorian lodge on the edge of Hay-on-Wye in Herefordshire, now over 200 years old. It sits surrounded by fields with views down the valley toward Hay-on-Wye.

Hay-on-Wye is famous for its second-hand and antiquarian bookshops, antique stores, art galleries and independent boutiques. The River Wye is on your doorstep for riverside walks and canoe hire. The Black Mountains are a short drive south and Brecon is just 15 miles away.

The lodge sleeps 4 across two bedrooms. The King-size bedroom and a Twin bedroom are mostly on one level with a couple of steps up. There is one ground floor bathroom with a bath and electric shower. The living room has a wood burner and patio doors from the dining room open onto a sunny terrace with outdoor furniture and garden lawn.
