Dexters Den is a characterful one-bedroom cottage set in the heart of a pretty valley near Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. Part of a lovingly restored 17th-century farm estate spanning 60 acres, it sits within established English country gardens and ancient woodland. The setting is genuinely unlike anything else the site also hosts Wildside Exotic Rescue Forest of Dean, meaning you might wake to gibbons calling from the trees or spot meerkats near the cars.

The estate includes acres of open countryside and woodland to explore. A shared outdoor solar-heated pool is open from late April to late September. The walled south-facing garden is fully enclosed with walls up to 9 feet tall and hundreds of solar lights for evening atmosphere.
