Beautiful property. Beds very comfortable, kitchen extremely well equipped. Lovely garden. We only stayed 2 nights but wish it could have been longer

We had a really lovely stay, the cottage was beautiful, so lovingly restored and just what we needed from our 4 night stay. The cottage was extremely clean and the hosts thought of everything. The surrounding areas were beautiful too with lots to explore and see. Wed love to book again maybe next year to have a few nights away with the family and dogs. The garden was perfect for the dogs. Wed definitely recommend this stay to all our friends and family.

We had a fantastic stay at the Whitehouse cottage. What a super place, real character with the beams and lower ceilings. The top attic room is lovely, really luxurious. All the rooms were a great size. The lounge was fab, with great views out over the fields. The kitchen has everything you need. Home from home and a bonus utility room as well. As for the garden just brilliant! Totally secure for our dog and plenty of space for her to run around. Really had the best time.

We were pleasantly surprised at how big the cottage was, and what a gorgeous holiday home for us to spend the Easter weekend in with my family and 2 dogs. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Comfy beds and nice white linen and towels provided. Really big enclosed and well kept garden perfect for our Easter egg hunt! Plenty of parking for our 4 cars. Everything was just perfect, thank you to the hosts Lyn & Dave. Would love to come back again.

We had a lovely week in February for the family to meet up altogether. The cottage was exactly as described, nicely furnished, warm, clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly, safe and well equipped. Beds comfortable and warm. Plenty of towels provided for the bathroom which had both a bath and separate shower. The kitchen was very well equipped and ideal for family meals, the only suggestion would be maybe a set of plastic cups and plates for children. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

The cottage was lovely just what we were looking for remote and picturesque. The hearing was great kept us very warm and log fire too. . The only things that would improve would be the cooker it took forever to cook our New Years Day dinner and also the shower only had one temperature hot! Apart from that everything was amazing we had the best time thank you so much

Pre Xmas Break in a cottage full of character. As with previous reviews spotlessly clean with good facilities. The house although large was warm and cosy, much appreciated in depths of winter. Garden was large, secure dogs with us and well maintained. We had a 3 night stay so kept local...an ideal central base I suppose for the wider Hereford area. Owner was friendly and welcoming....Thanks and a Happy New Year to you. Leighton

Easy booking. Easy to find and private gated parking! Lovely host and welcome. Very happy to see the quality of this home. Very cosy. Wonderful place, just you and your favourite people. 1 White House Cottages was just perfect for 2 families of 4 for our recent stay. The property was extremely clean, well presented and equipped thanks to a very recent renovation. We particularly liked the high quality bedding, well equipped kitchen and high speed fibre! Great location for Ross on Wye and the Forest of Dean. Highly recommend it!

Lovely cottage with lovely furnishings. Kitchen was well equipped and ideal for cooking in. Garden was secure for dogs so they could be let off without worrying about them running into the road. Would come back again for a visit!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was gorgeous beautiful inside and out, well equipped with good quality appliances and utensils, and extremely clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely hosts and a warm welcome on arrival. We would highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay at 1 White House Cottages. The house is absolutely gorgeous and was spotlessly clean. The owners are really friendly and helpful and even bought our daughter a little Easter treat which was very kind! This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in, it was so cosy and has beautiful views great that is also dog friendly so we were able to take our black lab too. Thanks Lyn & Dave for a great stay! Highly recommend this cottage.

A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. We enjoyed the walks along the sculpture trail and the town and country walk from Ross on Wye. We also took several walks along the river Wye. The cottage was clean and warm, so much so that we switched off the radiators in the bedrooms. Nice to have two log burners as well. We struggled to find the keys for the shed and the patio until we discovered them under the sink, might be worth a mention to holidaymakers, where to find these. Nice that pets are allowed at this lovely cottage, which meant that my family could come with their dog for a couple of days. Thank you Lyn and Dave for letting out this property.

Lovely place all round and lovely people great attention to detail and the whole family and dog felt very much at home. My daughter, who is an interior designer, was very impressed! we will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic time, the cottage was spotless and beautiful setting. Great hospitality, We stayed at many cottages but this is by far the best. Highly recommended.
