This impressive chapel conversion makes the most of its array of original features, the most stunning of which are intricate stained-glass windows and a double-height, open-plan living space that has enormous wow-factor. With a wooden floor and timbered ceiling, it has incredible grandeur and will help make any stay truly out of the ordinary. The long dining table has seating for everyone to enjoy celebratory feasts, or you can hang out at the cool bar, which features a double wine fridge with dual temperatures. When you want to snuggle up with a favourite movie, the lounge area has plenty of plush seating arranged around a Smart TV, plus a wood burner set in a huge, ornate fireplace. Anyone with musical abilities will enjoy playing the piano and investigating the music stack, and if you’re staying in the summer, there are ceiling fans to keep the space comfortably cool. Arched double doors lead to the hallway and, straight ahead, the traditionally styled kitchen, which has painted cupboards, a Belfast sink, an American-style fridge/freezer and an electric range cooker. There’s also a breakfast bar with two stools and, next door, a utility area with a microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer. Also on this level are two of the four bedrooms – one with a king-size bed, dressing table and walk-in wardrobe, and the other a bunk-bed room with a corner desk and clothes storage. They share a superb family bathroom which has a free-standing, claw-foot bath and an infrared sauna. Stairs lead up to a mezzanine level – with an intricate, carved-wood balustrade – which overlooks the living area. Here, there are two further bedrooms, a king-size and a double with a fabulous four-poster bed. Both featuring walk-in wardrobes and en-suite showers.
The long, lawned back garden provides plenty of space for little ones to play and run, and there’s a covered deck area (one step up), with furniture and outdoor lighting, where you can gather to relax both in the sunshine and as the stars come out. Parking is provided for one car on the drive, and there is additional on-street parking (subject to availability).
