Evendine Hut @ Evendine Cottage Reviews

I found my perfect getaway at Evendine. Rural but not isolated with walks from the hut, peace and quiet with birdsong my wake up call, squirrels and rabbits my closest neighbours. Who wants to shower when you can sit in an outside bath in the dark looking at the stars and the Malvern Hills ? I could go on and on, but suffice to say I've already booked my second stay. Thank you Clare and John for a very warm welcome and advice on where to eat and visit.

The shepherds hut was beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail was superb with added extras including welcome cookies, bottle of prosecco and milk as well as treats for dogs, bed and dog towels. The outside bath was a unique experience and the log burner made for lovely cosy evenings. We loved our weekend and would definitely return!

We loved our stay here. It was immaculate, cosy and welcoming. Clare was super friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back again!
We had a really lovely stay at this hut! Clare was super helpful. Some lovely walks straight from the garden! It was nice to have so many extras for our dog, he loved every moment of it. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a perfect stay!
We had a lovely stay at Evendine the shepherd's hut is beautiful, well made and very cozy. We loved the location due to its beautiful setting and access to the malvern hills. We used the bush bath every day and the host was so helpful and friendly. We never brought our dog with us but he would've loved it! 10 out of of stay.
Yet another wonderful stay at Evendine Hut, this time two adults. As comfortable as before, beautifully decorated and with everything we needed for a weekend. Clares recommendation of the local Thai and pub were perfect and we enjoyed two very delicious meals. Evendine Hut is the perfect getaway, surrounded by beautiful countryside, with walks on the doorstep, and plenty to entertain yourself in the area and further afield towards places like Worcester. Cannot recommend enough.

Owners were very friendly and welcoming, hut was outstanding, and showed off the fabulous location perfectly. Most relaxing holiday for us and the dog. Highly recommend.
This property was the ideal place for a retreat. Its perfectly placed to explore the beauty of the surrounding area with amazing walks literally at the bottom of the garden. Clare has thought of everything to make this a luxury stay, with a beautifully equipped and decorated hut which is eco friendly. The garden was also stunning. Clare is an amazingly friendly and accommodating host who is happy to talk but also gives you plenty of space. The dogs are super cute and meeting them was one of the highlights!! The Cinderella toilet was a revelation! We loved our stay and we will definitely be back!! We would recommend this property 100
Steven
Exceeded all of our expectations. Our intentions are to return in the near future.
A beautiful shepherd's hut in a beautiful setting. The hut has all the essentials a lovely shower room, a very comfy bed and a mini kitchen with a two ring hob and airfryer, as well as being very aesthetic. The outside bath is divine. The hut also has its own patio and a great sized private, dogproof garden if you have a escape artist like mine with a gate at the bottom that leads straight on to a public footpath and then a short but steep walk up to the Malvern Hills. The owner has put her heart and soul into creating a delightful environment and it shows. A caring owner who will either leave you in peace if that's what you want or takes time for chats if you are amenable. I had a truly wonderful stay and didn't want to leave.
Second time back. Loved it.
Our first time in a shepherd's hut but not the last as our accomadation could not be bettered. ...perhaps a little more room for food cupboard but would not want to sacrifice the lovely bright window space...Thanks to Clare for providing a perfect vehicle for our relaxing after a wonderful 3 day music festival at Upton on Severn.
This is one of the best Shepherd huts Ive ever stayed in. Lovely spot. Lovely owner would highly recommend.
Catherine
An absolutely fantastic, unique and peaceful experience close to the hills and Malvern itself. Lots of local walks, things to do. The hut was a breathtaking experience especially having a bath outside at midnight! And Clare was a super host thank you! Will surely be back.
A beautiful shepherds hut in beautiful surroundings. Set in a beautiful garden with stunning views. It looks better than the photos as there is now planting along the pathway. Lots of lovely little touches books, games, marshmallows etc. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Lots of lovely things to do nearby. We had a fantastic holiday and would thoroughly recommend.
Evendine Hut is a really special place. The attention to detail in the hut is very impressive, it's very luxurious and a great deal of care and thought has gone into it. The location is idyllic! Rural and peaceful but within walking distance of a great local pub. Very dog friendly our spaniel had the time of his life in the large enclosed garden and with beautiful walks literally on the doorstep. Clare is a wonderful host. We can't wait to return!
A beautiful hut with fantastic views and privacy. Very comfortable and a great spot for walking. Internet hit and miss but this just added to the peace and quiet of a break away from home and work. Very hospitable hosts and easy to find.
Raymond
Our stay at Evendine Hut was lovely. It is a new venture for the owner who was extremely helpful and friendly. She asked us to let her know if we thought of anything missing to make the stay better only two small things and these were seen to immediately. The Hut is small but everything in it is to a very high standard and you have all you need. The views are spectacular. Would recommend
What a find absolutely loved it! Fantastic little set up in a stunning location, right beneath British Camp in The Malverns and just perfect for exploring the local area with my Labrador and generally relaxing it even inspired me to try out my watercolours for the first time! Be realistic in your expectations, but for a simple Shepherds Hut, this one is a first class experience, and the owner has gone above and beyond in her efforts to present it. Spotlessly clean on arrival with a welcome bottle of fizz, marshmallows for the fire pit and plenty of wood for both that and the log burner though I didn't find a use for that, as the additional heating system was more than adequate for my short stay in April. Hot water and shower pressure very good indeed, wifi better than expected but still rather on and off, if that is important to you, but there was also some 4G coverage, certainly outside in the garden. The bedroom is cosy but very comfortable and the outside bathtub and interesting feature which I didn't get the opportunity to use on this occasion, next time around maybe? Finally, my advice would be to Google Cinderella Toilet before you come, you will be amazed! Once you have got used to the idea, it was absolutely fine. Good luck to the owner with this ecofriendly and interesting project, and put me down for another visit soon!
Wonderful owner providing everything you need. My Doberman loved exploring the big secure garden in fact she didnt want to get in the car to come home !! Clare has thought of everything to make the Hut comfortable and welcoming. A lot of effort and thought has been considered into environmental best practice.. This is a tremendous success for her foray into a new business. There are issues with mobileTV access which Clare is addressing. Numerous local walks and wonderfully welcoming pubs. Clare has a natural talent for making you and the shepherd hut AMAZING!!
